BARBARA SIEFKEN
PMP

For the last 20 years, Barbara has applied her software and project management skills to product development, quality assurance, and sales. She holds a Bachelors degree from Stony Brook University and a Masters from NYU-Poly, both in Computer Science. She is a certified Math 7-12 teacher, and spent a year as a visiting professor on loan to Southern University. Projects at Texaco, Bell Laboratories, and Tektronix ranged from designing the STI graphics system, to leading the QA program for the TDS oscilloscope project. More recently, she has helped a handful of startups introduce new products and expand their markets. Barbara enjoys collaborating, and is an active member of the Portland chapter of PMI and the Lake Oswego ARES emergency communications team. Other training pursuits include The Entrepreneurial Edge, Dale Carnegie, and Miller Heiman.


BRYAN LEE PEREZ
MSIT, PMP

Bryan is a certified Project Management Professional and has been managing IT projects for more than ten years. He has worked on a wide variety of projects and programs in both Mexico and the US for the State of Mexico and in the US for the State of Texas. Bryan holds a double B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Soft Systems from Monterrey Tech Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Texas Pan-Am.


COLIN MCINNES
PMP

Colin is a certified Project Management Professional with over 15 years experience in project management. Mr. McInnes has worked on a wide variety of multi-million dollar projects and programs in the defense and telecommunications sectors. Although he has successfully executed in all project phases, Colin is particularly adept at front end project activities, including proposal preparation, project planning, and assembling and establishing highly effective teams. Mr. McInnes hold a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University.

For over 20 years, Corey has been directing the delivery of IT services in customer facing roles. He has been a successful manager, coach, project manager, vendor manager and process change agent in small business and Fortune 500 environments. Corey has a track record of improving profitability and customer satisfaction with a focus on analytics and strong team work in challenging environments. He has been recognized for his contributions in the delivery of large project implementations on time and within budget, by managing performance and closely tracking results. Corey has held executive management positions at ICL PLC, Fujitsu, and JDL Technologies.


ELIZABETH LYNNE WARREN
BBA, PMP

Lynne has extensive experience coming from management and project related positions in a variety of industries that include: public utilities, technology, landscaping, residential construction, magazine publishing, and finally independent consulting. She is highly skilled in employee management, career planning, and development. Her strength and proficiency was demonstrated in playing a key role on major projects including assembling and leading effective teams. She has enhanced her knowledge by doing professional development courses like: Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program, Facilitative Leadership, Psychology of Supervision, Intervention Skills, Team Problem Solving, Technical Writing, and Distribution Field Engineering Training Program. She has gained her Bachelors in Business Administration from the American InterContinental University and is a certified Project Management Professional.


FRANCES M. J. TESSLER
PMP

Frances Tessler has been a project manager for the past 20 years. Her expertise is in process improvements for system applications and general operations departments. She has managed both IT and administrative projects. Her biggest project challenge was in working with a software company to create a GUI that would allow an eligibility department to process paper applications with 99% accuracy and then creating an audit process to insure accuracy of data in the data warehouse. She greatly enjoys the problem solving and networking that project management brings to the table.


JAIMIE M RUSH

Jaimie M. Rush is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over fifteen years of service in the field of project management and holds an MBA degree from Brigham Young University. Jaimie’s work experience includes being the PM for a diverse range of multi-million dollar initiatives within consumer products, financial and IT services, with a compelling track record in direct mail advertising, product launch/development, cutting edge system implementation, and outside-the-box sales programs that open untouched markets. She currently holds the position of Associate Director, Project Management at the Los Angeles Times and is also a part-time Business Instructor for University of La Verne and University of Redlands.

Jeffrey Raines is an accomplished project manager with 17+ years of experience in managing projects and people in the construction and aerospace industries. Jeffrey has applied his skills to projects sponsored by Disney, NASA, the United States Air Force, and numerous aerospace contractors in Central Florida. He has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Management/Flight Technology from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is also a Certificated Flight Instructor with over 3000 hours of flight experience in single and multi-engine aircraft.

Stanford Certified Project Management Credential (SCPM), Stanford University, Mary Ann, a Senior Project Manager has vast experience in various industries such as data centers, infrastructure, finance, identity management, and telecom. This includes her eighteen years of expertise in project management. She has ten years of experience in global technical training delivery and instructional design. Her creativity led to the designing of three technical books and a video to enhance technical comprehension and retention across multi–level audiences. She also served as a District Sales Manager for two years in a Telecom company.


MIKE TOMASZEWSKI
BSEE, MBA, PMP

Mike had spent the majority of his career with Motorola (cellular telecommunications) in South-East Asia. He was an expat for seven years (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines) and travelled back and forth for an additional five years. He had always interfaced with the customer and trained them on the new features and technologies as they came to market. He has been responsible for many large projects through all phases of the project and involving all levels of engineering. Many times he was requested to come to an existing project and help it get back on track.

Certified Project Management Professional with over 15 years of experience, Mimi Laraque has extensive experience in leading cross-functional, global teams to successfully deliver large scale systems for increased efficiency, improved productivity, ROI and decision-making capabilities. Her expertise includes proactive leadership, working closely with all levels of management from Steering Committee through line management. Outstanding influence in fostering partnerships with customers and peer organizations through collaboration, decision making, conflict management and resolution. She is well versed in ERP implementations, such as Oracle. She has worked in the Telecommunications, Publishing, Pension, and Manufacturing industries.

Richard Mather is an accomplished manufacturing engineer, having extensive experience in the high tech manufacturing environment and managing projects. In addition he has been involved with regulatory labeling and RoHS/WEEE compliance. (Restriction of Hazardous Waste and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment directives) An electronics engineering graduate and Certified Project Management Professional, Rick is highly skilled with expertise in all facets of the project life cycle. He has worked on international assignments from the establishment of a configuration center in Dundalk, Ireland, to licensing a manufacturing facility in Oslo, Norway, with Tandberg Data. He has spent the last several years launching new products for companies such as IBM, Sun Microsystems, HP and Dell, into the manufacturing environment in Penang, Malaysia. This gives him a great perspective on virtual teams and working across cultures.


ROBERT MORGAN

Rob Morgan is an IT executive with a diverse 25 year management background in consulting services, software and the automotive industry, and a successful entrepreneur. His project management career started in CRM software development, leading to a Director role with Cambridge Technology Partners managing their Siebel engagements. As part of the leadership team heading consulting services for Novell, he specialized in secure identity and resource management projects. Currently an independent consultant, Rob was previously VP of Professional Services for CiRBA, the leading virtualization analysis solution for data center consolidation. His passion for speed includes motorcycles, skiing and sports cars.


ROSS SIEG

Ross has over 30 years experience in project, program and systems management. He has led teams of corporate and third party resources in multi-million, multi year projects for Fortune 500 companies in the areas of manufacturing, freight, retail, banking, healthcare, and criminal justice. In addition to his accomplishments in planning, project guidance, and improving operational efficiencies, Ross has been described as someone whose “patience with people and ability to adapt his teaching style make him a good coach and mentor.” Ross holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Western Washington University, and is PMP and ITIL service desk certified.


RUTH KIM

Having more than ten years of experience in the field of project management across multiple industries, Ruth has expertise in training, consulting, and project management methodology implementation. She is currently a Managing Partner for a software company. Being a good practitioner and having a passion for project management, she has established and enforced PM standards for her project managers in her software consulting organization, and the organizations she worked for previously (including General Motors and Adexa). Ruth has completed her bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and has a Masters degree from Stanford University with concentrated studies in Organizational Behavior Management and Team Based Design.


SANDRA A STRECH

Sandra Strech has fifteen years of experience in the field of project management. She has developed federal and local government programs in Health and Human Services and Education. She developed an award winning HIV Care Act program for the State of Illinois and wrote a master's degree program for Southern Illinois University. She created the Office of Institutional Research and Reports for Kishwaukee College. In San Diego, she developed a Department of Education program for the San Diego State University Foundation before working with the County of San Diego. There she served as a Contract Manager developing a transportation program for senior citizens and working with technology services to improve IT systems. Later she developed a process management program for the Health and Human Services Agency, creating and providing trainings, including a 'Project Management Boot Camp.' Sandra holds a masters degree in Public Administration with majors in Program Evaluation and Human Resources Management, and a bachelor's degree in psychology. In addition to her PMP, Sandra is a Certified Community Transit Manager.


SCOTT FERRIN
MBA, PMP

A leader in developing project management focus in non-project management oriented companies, Scott Ferrin has 15 years experience in project management. Scott has worked leading and delivering project outcomes in financial services, education, and mining. He has expertise in the key phases of project development including initiating and planning. His ability to think strategically about the impact of a project and the potential stakeholders affected has led to recognition as a key strategic partner with the HR functions of his current role. Scott is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with 7 years of project work as well as a background in process consulting, business analysis and operational management. His projects span a diverse range of initiatives including areas in IT, Mobile technology, Support Services and Web-portal implementation. Scott attended Sacramento State University to study Theatre Directing and Production. After receiving his degree, Scott continued his work in the service industry sector in a variety of managerial roles. Scott incorporates his theatre and business background to provide his students with a learning experience that is both educational and entertaining.


SHARON QI
Ph.D., major in education, University of Pittsburgh, PMP

Being a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and having years of experience in project management in IBM, Sharon has expertise in training service people and customers of software products, as well as product release management. She designed fee-based and instructor-led eLearning product training program for IBM, and successfully initiated it world-wide. She received several patent filing awards and Bravo awards for her innovations and contributions to eLearning at IBM. She also managed multiple product lines releases including language globalization implementation across fourteen countries. She is currently a managing partner for an IT consulting company. Sharon completed her Ph.D. degree with major in Education from University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining IBM, she had educational research and university teaching experience for years.


TOMMIE L. SHERRILL
MA (Economics), PMP, EL, Many other defense certifications

Tommie L. Sherrill joins the PMstudy.com faculty with twenty years service as a career U.S. Army officer and current active member of the Army Acquisition Corps. He has a diverse background which includes numerous Army leadership and staff positions in operational, joint, and program/project organizations that focused on system Test and Evaluation and Research and Development activities. His most recent position was as the Army Materiel Commands lead for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology in Seoul, South Korea. Mr. Sherrill holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Oklahoma and is a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College and Materiel Acquisition Managers Course. He holds defense acquisition certifications in Program Management, Logistics, Systems Testing, Information Technology Systems, Systems Engineering, Defense Requirements Management, Contracting, and commercial certifications in Project Management (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and Executive Leadership from Cornell University.


TORRI STOKES
CCNA, PMP

Torri Stokes is a Project Manager for Cisco Systems, Inc. She has been working in the IT field for about 7 years with a focus in the manufacturing environment. She began her career as an Operations Manager working with an IT outsourcing company and later developed tremendous passion for Project Management and it is now a part of her everyday life. Her educational background began at Oakland University in Pontiac, MI. She also attended what was formerly known as NIT, National Institute of Technology (now Everest Institute), where she obtained a certificate in Computer Technology and Electronics. As a student there, she also interned as a Assistant Lab Instructor where she taught classes related to multiple electronic concepts and processes. She then attended, and obtained her Bachelor’s degree from, Siena Heights University in Adrian Michigan. It was during this time that she had developed a strong interest in business management and marketing. This business interest along with her experience in computer technology background was the perfect complement to her career interest.


TRENT FOGG

Trent Fogg has been developing innovative and successful technical and exploration products for the Petroleum industry for over last fifteen years. He has directed major geological studies, exploration analysis software and Geographic Information System (GIS) based consulting tools covering North America and Europe. His success in bringing multi-disciplinary teams together across skill sets and continents has been aided by his understanding and experience with the PMBOK framework. He has his Masters Certificate in Project Management through York University – Schulich School of Business.


VINCE BELANGER

Vince Belanger is a 15 year veteran of the Project Management process. He has practiced as a project management professional in all areas of construction management including public and private structures, commercial development and large scale residential. Vince has initiated a successful start-up residential development company as well as played key roles as Vice President of Project Management and Senior Project Manager in top Fortune 500 real estate development companies. Vince’s typical projects range from $5 to $50 million. Among Vince’s many strengths include his disciplined and highly organized ability to bring projects in on time and on budget as a team leader. In addition to being a PMP Vince has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Finance from California State University, Fullerton, is a Certified Construction Manager from University of Illinois and subsequently taught Construction Management at University of Illinois.
